Church Street QR Tour Sites

In this tour you will discover how Hebron’s center developed from a place where roads met to a thriving village and most prosperous town in Tolland County by the year 1800. Unfortunately, much of Hebron’s colonial past has been replaced by more recent developments. Even so, Church Street has remained a neighborhood that records the changes from first settlement to today.

In this tour you will have a chance to do the following:

  1. Stop 1—Intersection of Routes 85 / 66 Traffic Light—Understand how the location of the Congregational Meetinghouse determined a town’s center in the colonial period.
